Script to save webloc

Hello, I routinely drag a Safari url to the Desktop, where a .webloc file is made. Is there any way to script this, so I can take the current url, in the current tab, and save it as a .webloc to a specific directory?

I will bind this to a key command in only Safari. This should save me having to grab for the mouse every time.
