Satimage-software is glad to announce the release of Smile 3.4 for MacOS 10.5 or higher.

Smile is a programming and working environment based on AppleScript. In Smile you can edit and run scripts. You can edit text files (ASCII and Unicode) and XML documents or manipulate them by script. You can create your own GUI (Aqua or HTML), make PDF graphics by script, and control I/O devices. All those features are free.

Some new features of this release:

- Smile uses a new text engine. The text windows (AppleScript terminals, script windows and Unicode windows) should be much more efficient when handling large amount of text.

- The F5 key or alt-tab in a text window now opens an autocompletion popup menu.

- Syntax coloring is enabled in Unicode windows corresponding to .html, .js, .plist, .sdef, .xml and .xsl files.
