Not fast and easy but there is 'xpdf' which is a suite of unix tools
that can run on Mac OS X. Look for 'pdfinfo' in those tools.
Normally you'd want to download and compile the source yourself but
there is a pre-built version at: <http://users.phg-online.de/tk/MOSXS/>
