Speaking of properties...

In Mac OS9, Is it possible to get the value of a property from an
AppleScript applet into another script?

In its simplest form the applet would look something like this:

Property foo: {}

On run
Set the end of foo to text returned of display dialog
End run

----

With each run, a new string is added to foo, and I need to get those values
into another script.

(In the wild the script has been running for years with users adding
information, which I want to carry over into leopard. The various lists in
the applet have hundreds of values)
