The literal translation would be something like "Jacques dans la la
boîte". But the amusing thing is that I don't exactly know how to
correctly translate this; perhaps "diable à ressort"?
I wasn't attempting to be literal (Pardon my French.). If I was still
living in Montréal, I think that would be the term in the Franglais I
came to know and love. For instance "chien chaude" was used a lot when
the Expos first got their major league franchise.
