I'm hoping to get some feedback from an Apple guru as to whether it would be worthwhile filing a bug report; I've gotten so many that were duplicates, I'd hate to file another.
Don't let bug reports being marked as "duplicate" dissuade you from posting bugs. If anything, you should consider that a good thing. When a bug report is marked as a "duplicate" that means other people are encountering the same problem and aids us in prioritizing work. Also, your report may provide vital information for identifying and fixing the problem that's missing from other reports. The "original" of a duplicate is usually just the first one to be received, not necessarily the one that helps us the most. "Duplicate" is really just a way of making sure we know when two or more reports are related, but those reports are often all necessary for us to get a complete picture of the problem (or enhancement request).
