Thanks again. But
apply paragraph style using "3.kl.normala kun ensalto" without
clearing overrides
doesn't work. In a tell statement to selection it says:
Adobe InDesign CS4 got an error: Invalid value for parameter 'using'
of event 'apply paragraph style'. Expected paragraph style, but
received "3.kl.normala kun ensalto".
But that's the name of the style, I copied it directly. Without the
tell statement it says:
Can't continue apply paragraph style.
I've tried various other variations that don't work either - par for
the course for me, as you know.

Many versions ago, it was the default in the UI too. Changing that
was easy
enough, but breaking scripts was considered a bad idea.
