NOTE: I have already sent this email to the list but it bounced back
because it was large than 65kb, the referenced pictures are now here:

Hey Guys,
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone I'm nearly there, last hurdle
now and I couldn't of gotten this far without you guys!
Thanks @ Philip Aker for originally telling me about the "quoted form
of" method;
Thanks @ Doug McNutt for more info on the "quoted form of" method and
info on havealook (I will "havealook" for the next script I have lined
up)
Thanks @ Mark Reed for telling me lots more about awk, I have the
Complete Unix Reference but I have lent it to a friend and clearly I
needed it now
Thanks @ Stan Cleveland for wowing me with his interest in
inter-quote-inter-quote-inter-quote-inter-quotes and how to escape
them
In a nut shell the script is almost done except users that will be
using the script are going to be mounting their home folder from one
of two shares, one of them has a space in it, shock horror! And I
think that is why it isn't working for those guys? See the screen
shots attached;
With Picture2.png you can see that for some reason the output is a new
line unlike Picture1.png; the command to be run by the "mount volume"
command is all one line as it should be, why is this? I have changed
awk to cut off an extra character in case there was a carriage
return/line feed character there by magic but there isn't, it is still
on a new line except missing the first letter (so I have changed it
back). The only thing different that matters is that there
is a space in the unc path, could that cause this problem?
Many thanks to all thus far and any help with this last bit if I
haven't been to much of a burden already would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
James ;)
