Good afternoon all,
Looking for some insight on automating authorization dialog boxes
for keychain certificate permission changes.
Currently I am developing a script to change the trust settings on
several keychain certificates. The problem that exists is for each
permissions change (from Use System Specified/Never Trust/Custom to
Always Trust) it prompts the user for a password. This can get
slightly annoying after the 7th or 8th time.
I have tried editing /etc/authorization, using if statements to see
if the dialog exists and GUI script it (I believe impossible), and
that is all I can come-up with.
Does anyone have any experience scripting these System Event
authorization dialog boxes?
Not much help but a blog at <http://www.red-sweater.com/blog/170/usable-keychain-scripting
> shows several people with the same problem WRT passwords.
FWIW, I didn't find Keychain Scripting that slow (10.5.7).
