Yes, they work particularly well in Entourage, thanks to the Mailing List
Manager. For mailing lists, don't use regular rules - instead go to
Tools/Mailing List Manager, and create an entry for the mailing list there.
Make sure you also make a contact for the list in the Address Book, too (I
think you're asked about that hen you save the MLM entry). Also check out
all the Advanced MLM rules on the second tab. In particular, you should (for
this list) check to Override the default reply behavior and always reply to
the list. You should also (probably) check Do not apply (regular) rules.
There are rules for bursting digests, for deleting copies you send to the
list, and ***for running AppleScripts on list messages.
