In my case I'm stuck using a proprietary plug-in that doesn't work with CS3
or CS4.

Plus, There's a cost cutting trend in the publishing industry at the moment,
so upgrades to new macs or even new software versions is harder to justify
just now.

I've used GUI scripting to accomplish similar things, was their a problem
with the solution I posted?
