Hi,
as you all know, a MacBook is a nomade computer.
At home, I connect an external monitor that I cannot take with me when I left home. So I have to deconnect it.
MacOS X is kind enough to move the open Windows to the main monitor. BUT, once back home, I want to send the open windows back to the external windows (those who were there before the monitor disconnect time).
The part to know where the external monitor is (left, right, top, bottom) can be trivial (I set it always at the left of the internal monitor; so I actually check for x negatives values).
But, I need a way to know if an external monitor is connected; I currently do not know how to!
Any idea ?
Emile
PS: is there a global event sent at monitor connect / disconnect time ?
[if so, I will use them to run the script to store / restore the folders positions)
