Obviously it's a terminology conflict, but with what?

Simply installing ARD shouldn't matter - unless it installs an osax
that's getting in the way?

And if the desired "CPU Type" term is from Standard Additions, there's
no way to disambiguate by "using terms from".

I got it !

The OP has Jon's Commands installed on its G4 machines.

There is a 'CPU type' property in the 'machine environment' record.
