You are perfectly wrong.
Not only it behaves wrongly on the standard version but FileMaker
techies recognize that it behaves as I wrote on the advanced version.
Given that I think that here,
I must send my apologizes to FileMaker for the rude formula posted
in French.
As I don't like this kind of behavior, I send an other French
formula to Mr. Robertson himself:
"Quand on ne sait pas, on ferme sa g..... !"
I wish also to add that my analysis of the behavior was wrong.
On MacIntel Machines, when pasted from AppleWorks, FileMaker uses
the component:
string:"azertyu", to grab the raw text
and it uses the component:
styled Clipboard text:«data styl
0003
00000000 0018 0012 0015 00FF 0018 000000000000
00000003 0018 0012 0016 00FF 0018 C8D524F41403
00000005 0018 0012 0015 00FF 0018 000000000000»,
to grab the color information.
Why isn't it grabbing more infos upon text attributes, I don't know.
At this time, FileMaker techies are aware of that and I really hope
that they will repair what seems to be a simple bug in the styled
Clipboard text deciphering.
