Yes. In this example, which I ran from Script Editor, the | represents the place where I placed the cursor so as to paste where I wanted it.
set the clipboard to "bob" tell application "System Events" to tell application process "Script Editor" keystroke "v" using {command down} end tell |
echo email@hidden@nl | tr a-z@. p-za-o.@ Democracy: Two wolves and a sheep voting on lunch.
