One thing you might try is getting the raw AE code for the command without
the plug in installed, then using that with the plug in. It's can be a pain
and is a bit inconvenient, but it can suffice as a workaround.

Script Debugger has a feature that shows the raw codes. If you don't have SD
you can use the demo.
