Yes, those whose names start with a dot or have their visibility flag set <x-man-page://SetFile>.

I meant in actual practice and use.

Not many. Besides snagging files with the specified extension, I wanted to illustrate that it's possible to specify multiple criteria and ensure that he would get what he sees in the Finder. Maybe that lumps me in the "overly verbose" category for some list members.
