As I've said before, eppc in my experience is very flaky and choke-prone,
especially after sleep, and my first move would be to restart everything in
question (the sending machine, the receiving machine, and the router). Plus
I would suggest checking that both machines can connect to the Internet, as
this is sometimes needed in order to get the router to see their Bonjour
names; in general I find that IP numbers work better (and I assign my local
machines fixed IP numbers, in part for this very reason). Of couse, as I've
also said, if all you want to do is tell a remote machine to sleep, there
are much better ways than using eppc. m.
