Yes, we quickly realized the potential for harm in remote events after several of us wrote scripts which put people into a dialog loop. So we added a bit to the 'osiz' resource which prevented osaxen from receiving remote events.
Granted, it was simple to edit that with ResEdit and allow them, but only thrill freaks would do that. ;)
