Still better, you can use "absoluteurl", the Ultimate Swiss Army Knife for urls and paths:


absoluteURL "file://localhost/Users/yvankoenig/Desktop/Sans% 20titre.rtfd/" as unix path
-- "/Users/yvankoenig/Desktop/Sans titre.rtfd/"


or you can do "as alias" but I can't test that because the file isn't on my machine ...

I never took care of this absoluteURL command.

Most of the scripts which I wrote aren't for my own use but for users asking in Apple Discussions forum.
Urging them to install an OSAX push then to leave the thread quite instantaneously.
