They were nice. But at the risk of rousing a wave of nostalgia from the
SE/30 cargo cult, though, I've got to say that the IIfx motherboard upgrade
was also pretty awesome value for money...

The 8500 was a great machine up to the moment you had to add RAM to it.
Then, it was something that should have been tied to the engineers who
designed it and the entire lot flung off a cliff into a pool of piranhas.

I still have scars.
