Terminal Tabbing

  • Subject: Terminal Tabbing

Okay, I've searched around the internet for probably an hour, and have grown increasingly frustrated.

Let me state my intentions, and perhaps someone can help me out, as, like I said, the 'solutions' I have found on the Google are increasingly fail.

I want to have a script that opens terminal, ssh'es to one machine, then calls a "screen -r".  Simple enough to do with with a couple "do script"s.

However, the tricky part is, in that same window I want to open up another tab, and ssh to a different machine and call a different screen.  All in the same script.  It doesn't seem like this should be hard, however...

I've tried the various solutions on the internet, and am encountering fail.  So, I am hoping that someone has figured this out in an elegant manner.
