Load Shared iTunes Music Library

Is there a way to tell iTunes to load a shared music library from its "Shared" drop down section in the menu bar. I want to make an applescript that will play a song from a shared music library, but for it to find the song to play, the shared music library has to be loaded first. If it isn't loaded there is an error because it can't find the song. I need a way to load the shared music library before I tell iTunes to play a shared track.
