Hello, I have for exemple 3 windows in TextEdit.

I will made "Sans Titre 3" in background and "Sans titre" in foreground.

How can I made this?

If that's the only thing you want the script to do, then do you know about the "Cycle Windows" command? Most apps support it -- just press command-`. (That's the backquote; top left corner on a US keyboard.)

I''m sorry, this (command+`) don't run in Safari 4 beta with french AZERTY keyboard AND the french flag in the menu bar (activated by "menu saisie"( don't know in english) in the international system preference).
(but, this run in TextEdit with the same AZERTY keyboard and french flag, and run in Safari with the americain flag in the menu bar).

In fact it's an old oddity.

It seems that Apple engineers never saw a French keyboard.

Some shortcuts are unusable on them but even reporting that doesn't change their definition.

I'm wondering if I must buy a French keyboard and send it to Cupertino.
The main problem is that I don't know to which precise engineer I must send it.

When Keystroke "i" was behaving wrongly on French keyboards with Mac OS X 10.3 (every release), I was responded (and Apple France received the same response): "we are unable to reproduce the described behavior".
Sure, they tested it with an American keyboard.

It seems that they bought such a keyboard because they where able to repair the code used to edit formulas in Numbers v2 with the first update. Now, we may enter the "^" character in the formula editor ;-)

Maybe I will become sufficiently old to see a French localisation of Numbers with correct French spelling.

Some functions names have accented chars, others haven't.
It's perfectly foolish.

The rule is Uppercase MUST be accented. Why are Apple engineers refusing to apply the rule ?

I'm tired to see:
ALEA
ALEA.ENTRE.BORNES
BETA.INVERSE
CENTREE.REDUITE
COEFFICIENT.CORRELATION
CONCATENER
CRITERE.LOI.BINOMIALE
DECALER
DECBIN
DECHEX
DECOCT
DEGRES
DUREE.M.OBLIGATION
DUREE.OBLIGATION
DUREE.SUPPRESSION
ECART.MOYEN
ECART.TYPE
EPURAGE
EQUIV
FRACTION.ANNEE (I'm glad to see FRÉQUENCE)
HEXDEC
INTERET.ACC
INTERET.ACC.MAT
LOI.BETA
MEDIANE
MOYENNE.GEOMETRIQUE
NB.JOURS.OUVRES
ORDONNEE.ORIGINE
PREVISION
PRIX.TITRE.ECHEANCE
PROBABILITE
RENDEMENT.TITRE.ECHEANCE
SERIE.JOUR.OUVRE
SOMME.CARRES
SOMME.CARRES.ECARTS
STDDEVA
STDDEVPA
TAUX.INTERET

It's really foolish because these functions names may easily be typed with their correct spelling if the shift lock key is depressed.

Maybe one day I will see the localized Numbers using the same strings than AddressBook for a correct behavior of the merge function.

But I know, these problems are not really linked to AppleScript.
