Getting AppleScript Editor document content to clipboard and maintaining styles

  • Thread-topic: Getting AppleScript Editor document content to clipboard and maintaining styles

I have the need to compile machine calculated AppleScript and get the proper
syntax colored and indented version of the document to the clipboard.

That is, the same result as when manually copying code from Script Editor.

I know I can probably achieve this with GUI scripting, but I would rather
not, if there is some other option

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

// Richard
