XML handling

Hi,

I have troubles working with the System Events XML Suite. I can read elements, but haven't managed to manipulate XML data, e.g. by inserting an XML branch (tags and subtags) into existing XML data. Does anybody know of any documentation for the System Events XML Suite?
Any help highly appreciated!
