Hi,

AppleScript is not aware of the mouse, nor should it be. You want to get the mouse location but at what time do you want its coordinates? The user could be moving the mouse when you ask. What is the point of knowing where it is?

It sounds like you have decided that getting the mouse location is a solution to a requirement you have. Perhaps if you give the reason why you want the mouse location someone here could provide a better solution.
