It's definitely not possible with standard AppleScript.
It sounds like you are wanting you script to restrict where the mouse can go. This is not possible with AppleScript.
Are you saying that the reason for the application to be used properly is so the voiceover is not done with the music from the application? Could this be done by separating the audio of the application to a different audio output device (perhaps a USB device) from that of the system audio? Is the voiceover actually system audio? I was thinking some software from Rogue Amoeba may do this, but I haven't tried it.
