I can use the globalSAN iSCSI pref pane to initiate a connection and mark it persistent and mount an iSCSI drive that I have created.

If I eject the volume, in this case named QDisk, then Disk Utility sees it, sees that it is not mounted, and I am able to use the menu command to mount it.

But I can't find any scriptable method to do this.

I'm near totally ignorant of networking, but I can't help but ask:
1. Create an alias file to the remote disk or to an item on the remote disk.
2. Unmount the disk.
3. Double-click the alias file.
What happens?
