No, it's because Trinity Mirror Group use Lotus Notes. The Notes client doesn't have a mailing list manager feature as such. There is a manual way to achieve the same result but the Notes client is not built to be user friendly. If you see any OOO Message from User name/ Certifier/Certifier/Certifier type format, it's usually best to reply with "I'm sorry to see you're using Lotus Notes".
