Actually, System Events had something like 'key pressed' similar to what Jon's had. I found this out in Panther when Apple took it away but my folder actions kept working and found out later it was because I had Jon's installed. However, Jon's stopped working under Intel... ExtraSuites continued but the nag and liscensing scheme became awkward so I abandoned the approach.
