If this is a FAQ or answered elsewhere I apologize in advance and ask
that you direct me to the relevant documentation, but so far I
haven't found an answer to this.
I'm writing a script to take photos in iPhoto 6 (6.0.6) and alter
them or create sidecar XMP files with exiftool. For JPG and TIF
files 'image path' returns the complete path of the original file
just fine. However I do have some raw files in my library (CRW and
CR2). For these 'image path' returns the path of the "modified"
files, that is the JPG file iPhoto created itself, not the original
raw file. What I really want is the path of the raw file itself so
that I can create a sidecar XMP. Is there any way to accomplish this?
Thanks,
John
