Mail scripting

I need to write an AppleScript that forwards a message to my SMS email. Normally I would do this in procmail, but the message I need to forward is going to my mobile me account, so I think AppleScript in Mail.app is my only option.

However, I've never scripted Mail.app, having done all my mail handling via procmail on my own server.

Anyone have somewhere for me to go read to get started?
