  • Thread-topic: Specifying a Port Number for Targeting a Remote Machine

I have some port redirection set up in a router and behind the router are
two different machines I want to target separately for remote Apple events.
I am using two different public ports (redirecting each to the 3031 port on
each machine).

Is there a way to use the machine "eppc://" syntax and specify a port
number. I tried putting a colon and the desired public port number other
than 3031 at the end as in:

machine "eppc://machine.ip.address:nnnnn"

but the syntax does not compile and eventually times out. Commands to a
machine with the public port set to 3031 did work.
