Please re-write my script

This script is a simple script to move files/folders and I have written so much code that it I think a lot of it is unnecessary and can be removed by writing the script in a different way. But I can't figure it out.

Please show me how to write this script elegantly.

(But please remember, i don't want to use "Finder" anywhere at all)
