I missed the survey. Not sure I would have voted in favor of me
knowing what i'm talking about - as with Ed's point, it depends
greatly on context. ;)

Its true that I can think of some use cases where the location of a
file within a subfolder doesn't matter.  I should have qualified my
statement appropriately.  But in general it holds.
