Monitor Sound Ouput Level via AppleScript?

  • Subject: Monitor Sound Ouput Level via AppleScript?

Hi there,

does anybody know a way to monitor or read out the level of the system sound output via AppleScript?
My goal is to issue an AppleScript command whenever there has been no audio output in the last 20 minutes or so.

Thanks,

Dominik
