Bug in AppleScript Editor

  • Subject: Bug in AppleScript Editor
  • From: Doug Tallman <email@hidden>

Apologies in advance if my history is a bit off, but about when Snow Leopard came out, folks started noticing that AppleScript Editor would revert to default formatting regardless of what your preferences said. I thought I read that the bug was fixed in a subsequent release. Just in case that's not an error, I'd like to say that the bug has never been fixed, at least on my system.

I set the point size to 18 point, colors aren't important, and periodically, the type reverts to 12 point. I have a big enough monitor and poor enough eyesight that 18 point makes things a lot easier. Switching back is a major nuisance.

If there's a fix, and I'm just missing it, please pass along.

Otherwise, if anyone on the AppleScript development team reads this, please be aware that you still have a bug to fix.

Thanks

doug
