Not without GUI scripting, and/or a lot of work and pain.

The problem is, iChat's dictionary has a lot of really stupid limitations in
it.

If you want to send an sms, you're almost better sending to the email
version of their cell number via do shell script and the 'mail' command.

That would explain the example I found that had: tell application "Mail"... I thought it was some sort of error.


Grrr... Now I have to search again to find that "Mail" example.
