Hello Emmanuel thanks for your answer,
That is possible, but not very firewall friendly, since I need to open
a portnumber. Or configure a VPN connection.
I am still in the hope of finding a more firewall friendly solution.
Something over the FTP protocoll.
Bert.

I don't know FolderSynchronizer, but can't it work on mounted
volumes? If it would, you could just mount one machine on the other
by AFP.

Hello, I need to synchronize 2 folders between 2 Mac OSX Servers.
The Macs are not in the same building / network, so I guess I need
a script / tool that can do the job by FTP or something. Firewall
friendly preferably.
I need to synchronize the folders every 24 hours at night. The
folder contains subfolders and jpeg files.
For another task I already use FolderSynchronizer, which is a great
application, but it can't go beyond the local network. If
FolderSynchronizer had FTP support, this post would not exist.
Tips or suggestions arer very welcome.
Bert.
