How to change starting page number in InDesign

Can anyone be so kind to assist me with the following I want to achieve:

set myFirst_Pagenumber to 23

tell application "Adobe InDesign CS3"
tell document 1 -- existing page, so I can manually modify preferences or settings if I wish
set myPage to make new page
-- I want the page number of myPage to be myFirst_Pagenumber.
-- How can that be done?
