'log' command results in AppleScript Editor

  • Subject: 'log' command results in AppleScript Editor

I seem to have missed some news.

I was coding happily using Smile V3.4.2 with MacOS 10.6.4 when I decided to move my (rather large) program to Script Editor. It took me a while to find that it had been renamed AppleScript Editor Version 2.3 (118) and moved to the Utilities folder.

My program compiled and ran fine. Except...

I am using formatted 'log' commands to produce a report. With Smile, this report came out on the Console window. With the new AS Editor, however, the 'log' results are jumbled up with other stuff.

Could someone please tell me how to see the 'log' results alone?

Also, is there some article or manual where I could have read about this?

'Preciate the help.
