Hey,
Does anyone know if there is a method for counting the pages in a QuarkXPress document without opening the document? I can not seem to find a viable option, and opening a folder full of documents, counting the pages and closing the documents is not a very cheerful user experience. Any "do shell script" solutions are welcome, as are any "here is how you would do it in <insert other language name here> solutions or any starting point suggestions. An explanation to go with the proposed solution would be appreciated, but I can try to muddle out the why part on my own...
TIA
Eric Saunders
