Is it possible in AS to put up a dialog and repeat an action until the dialog is acknowledged?

I need to play an alert sound and keep playing it until someone stops it by acknowledging it via the dialog. 

OK, figured it out.

Start playing the sound with looping using "Play Sound" app
display dialog
tell Play Sound to stop and quit.
