Hi,

I have scripted replacing pages in pdfs. For example replace 6-FRE-text.pdf (has 1 page) in the file FRE-text.pdf (has 10 pages) replacing page 6. The code works great.

However when my main document starts with Roman numerals instead of 1 or with another number other than 1 my script replaces the wrong page. For example my pdf has two roman numbers I and II and then arabic numbers. Page 2 = page II.

How do I differentiate via applescript a logical number from a real number?

Best, Patrik
