There are two open-source implementations of Dylan, both available from:

  <http://www.opendylan.org/>

One of them (Gwydion Dylan) runs on Mac OS X, currently. They are both supported by a small-but-passionate team of volunteers.

Dylan is my overall favorite language and I encourage anyone who’s interested to give it a try, or at least learn a little about it. The reference manual and a tutorial book are both available online. Also, please join the #dylan IRC channel on irc.freenode.net for live discussions with its developers and users.

I also gave a conference presentation on it. Slides with extensive notes are available at:

I now return you to your regularly scheduled AppleScript discussion.
