I hadn’t noticed the pitch, rate and modulation parameters had been added to the say command.

Very cool.

In response to a couple off-line threads about using those settings I put together a very silly and useless script that demonstrates how to use those features on the fly to modify the few good voices to build a larger collection of listenable voices. The script is similar to a script available on OS9 that read Shakespeare plays.

It’s in my public folder (edstockly) NewHope.app
