Hello.

I have looked a little bit around, but I can't seem to find the right default.property to get at the default mail application.
If someone out there knows the correct incantation to get this result I'd be very happy.

Thanks.

I entered Mail's preferences and defined the default app to Thunderbird.

This changed the contents of
com.apple.LaunchServices.plist

which contain now the entry :

LSHandlerRoleAll : org.mozilla.thunderbird LSHandlerURLScheme : mailto
