It's still the best value for the money of any pixel editor you'll ever have for the Mac. The price shouldn't be a barrier. If you're a pro, you need Photoshop, but if you do the kind of pedestrian photo manipulations that most of us do, Graphic Converter is more than adequate. And as Paul noted, it has a big ASs dictionary (for some reason, that just jumped out at me).
