It appear that when the user trigger the Standard Additions' file URL
command,
he get a value which isn't consustent which what he get when
triggering the Finder or System Events.
So I feel that it's time to treat the 'deprecated' statement as a
'dead' one.
Scripts written in the past with this function where written by users
knowing the way it behave.
Newbies would waste time trying to learn the behaviour of this
deprecated beast.

What I think the dictionary is saying, though, is that while usage
of file URL scheme in the OS is obsolete, it still in the
dictionary and still works. I won't be supported and you may not
rely on it in the future. It's a legacy.

is a wrongdoer.
It's simple, neat and precise.
